Anne Barbara Chianese, passed away July 28, 2020, surrounded by her loving family. On this day, she is reunited with her long lost love, Thomas Chianese, who has been awaiting her in heaven. They will now be together in eternal love and happiness. She endured a brief yet extraordinarily courageous battle with cancer. Anne was born in Bronx, New York on November 5, 1952 to loving parents Benny and Jean Cardella. She is survived by her sister Theresa Cohen, and is reunited with her siblings, Joan and Martin. Anne Chianese was the cherished mother of Maria Bietsch and Joseph, son-in-law Eric and daughter-in-law Amy (Del Savio). Along with her wonderful children, she was the loving and devoted grandmother of Ava and Mia Bietsch. These two girls were the light of her life and they loved their Grandma to the moon and back. She is also survived by many cousins, nephews, nieces and dear friends, whom she always considered family. Anne made a name for herself in the male dominated liquor industry, where she was regarded as a strong and successful business woman. She loved the beaches of Aruba, cooking delicious Italian specialties and always a good martini. Anne had the amazing ability to “tell it like it is” and at the same time make you smile with her overwhelming warmth and compassion. She was the most generous and loyal person, who always wished the best for everyone. It brought her the greatest joy to see others celebrate in their successes. Anne Chianese will be greatly missed by her family and friends and be remembered as a true matriarch, who always gave her heart and unconditional love.
