Owen Donaghey

Owen Donaghey, local businessman and longtime resident of Ardsley passed away on Friday, February 25th, 2022 at the age of 91 years. Mr. Donaghey was born on January 19, 1931 in Derrabard, Northern Ireland to the late Thomas and Mary Katherine Donaghey. He married his beloved Catherine Smith in New York in 1961, and they raised their family in Ardsley, New York. Owen Donaghey owned and managed a block of businesses in Yonkers, including Donaghey’s Pub. He was a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, The Emerald Golf Club, and the Innisfail Golf Club. Mr. Donaghey was dedicated to his parish of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Ardsley, New York. Owen is survived by his wife Catherine Donaghey, his daughter Maeve Donaghey, his son Kieran Donaghey and his fiancée Laura, his daughter Fiona Donaghey Ross and her husband William Ross. Mass of the Resurrection will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help at 11am on Monday, February 28, 2022, followed by interment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in White Plains.
