Robert Morris Giammette Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Robert “Bobby” Morris Giammette, 88, of Yonkers, New York passed away peacefully on June 11, 2022. Son of Rocco and Maria, he was born on July 5, 1933. He lived a long and happy life thanks to the care of his loving sister Teresa as well as the support and love of his brothers and sisters: Anna, Dominick, Josephine, Leon, Teresa, Marguerite, Elizabeth and Rosalie. He was a beloved uncle to Harriet, Carlo, Marion, John, Leonora, Brenda, Dean, Geraldine, Manny, Robert, Donna-Marie, Elizabeth, and Michael. He also leaves behind many grand-nieces and nephews. Bobby worked in a shoe repair shop in Hastings-on-Hudson for many years. He loved to sing, play the guitar and the harmonica. He truly loved people and his joy was contagious. He will be forever remembered wearing his trademark cowboy hat and his happy demeanor. Despite the challenges he faced in life he was an example to us all. Unburdened by the chaotic, stressful world, he showed us what is most important: family, kindness to all, gratitude for the little things, and love, given and received unconditionally.
